How it works. Your browser signs the message with your NIP-07 key (the secret never leaves your machine). The gateway verifies your proof and routes it to the operator — as a forwarded event if you're a member, or as an access-request pending approval if you're not. Either way, a held npub is what makes the message trustworthy.
